Цель викторины:

1.

Повторить пройденный учебный материал в неформальной обстановке во время

игры.

2.

Проверить страноведческие знания учащихся.

3.

Расширять кругозор учащихся.

4.

Развивать и поддерживать интерес к дальнейшему изучению английского языка.

Оборудование: Компьютер, проектор, доска. Компьютерная презентация показывается

через проектор.

Ход игры

I.Начало игры. Организационный момент.

II. Проведение игры.

В игре принимают участие 2 команды и один ведущий.

Участники команд по очереди читают задания и отвечают сразу же на заданный

вопрос. Выбирают жюри, которое ведёт подсчёт очков.

Ведущий: Good afternoon , dear friends! Today we have a competition “What do you

know about English speaking countries?”(1 слайд)

I hope all of you will take an active part in it. This task is devoted to the Great

Britain. You must answer these questions immediately. Let’s start. The first team, look at

the screen and begin to read the task.

1 команда: What is its capital? What can you say about them?

( читают с доски 2 слайд).

(London. It is Big Ben - the most famous clock. This is Trafalgar Square with Nelson’s

column).
